The Student Challenge is here, where students have the opportunity to get TechChill 2020 passes for free! The only requirement is to successfully complete the student workshop cycle running from late October to mid-December. The first workshop takes place already on October 22 – sign up now (applications received until October 17).

In total there will be 80 tickets up for grabs to make TechChill 2020 more available to students. Those who can prove that they are truly driven will get the opportunity to attend the best event for learning the ropes of technology and start-up world in the Baltics. The conference gives a unique opportunity to hear international tech and start-up experts, make new contacts, and meet your future partners or employers. Although going to the conference is a valuable experience, the workshop cycle itself will give the participants good insights into start-up environment!

One of the main goals of TechChill is to educate the youth about the start-up ecosystem and develop their business skills. That is why the three workshops, taking place on October 22, November 19 and December 12, will have panel discussions by key players of the industry, as well as practical activities intended to strengthen students pitching skills and increase their overall understanding of start-up world.

The students who don’t get one of the free passes by completing the workshop cycle still have a good reason to go to the conference. A limited number of discounted academic passes for just 49 euros will also be available to students and representatives from higher education institutions to help them stay up to date with the industry trends and meet with other leading innovators.

Rules

  1. Deadline for applications for the whole workshop cycle is Thursday, October 17.

Another way to gain invaluable experience is to participate in TechChill as a volunteer. This allows you to see the inside of the event and lets you work alongside our production, communications and community teams. Along student workshops TechChill also organizes TechChill Academy – a cycle of lectures and activities intended to help our volunteers grow as individuals, expand their knowledge and understanding, as well as gain crucial skills. More information on how to become a volunteer for TechChill 2020 coming in November – so keep your eyes open!
