TechChill is excited to announce the 2020 season where we focus on the Big Shift – changes prompted by rapid developments in greentech, blockchain, and 5G technology that await us in the next five years. We know this gets your anticipation high, so it’s probably the right time to let you know that early-bird tickets for the conference are available starting today! Get yours now for a special price!
The main event, TechChill 2020 conference, will take place on February 20-21 in Riga, transforming the city into a global meeting hub for startups, investors, innovators, inspirators, and technology enthusiasts. We want to see you there – don’t miss out on some of the best opportunities for networking and conversations in the Baltics, Nordics, and Central Eastern Europe. The event is large enough to bring together everyone who matters, yet cozy enough (just 2000 people) for you to actually meet them!
“Our goal is to talk about technologies and processes already in motion, which will impact our lives in the coming years, as well as the people behind them.” Ernests Štāls, CEO of TechChill.
In the two-day conference, you’ll hear talks and panel discussions on the main drivers of the Big Shift – Greentech, Blockchain, and 5G – as well as Sales & Marketing and Founders Stories relevant for the Baltic region. More than 15 exclusive side events will include angel investors training, workshops, in-depth masterclasses, a job fair, not to mention the amazing after-parties! Last but not least, fifty most promising attendee startups will pitch their ideas at the Fifty Founders Battle to get the main prize – 10 000 euros with no strings attached.
That being said, TechChill recognizes that there is another big shift happening. In response to the global environmental crisis and climate breakdown, we have undergone a deep re-thinking of the TechChill brand and core values. We will make sure we organize our events in the most environmentally conscious way we can, and we encourage our guests to do their part as well. More on this in our updated sustainability policy.
TechChill is not just a conference but an active NGO that works all year round to support the startup community in the Baltics. One of our core functions is to educate youth about the world of start-ups and the opportunities they can find here. That’s why we’re organizing a student workshop cycle, which will run from late October to mid-December, whose participants will have the amazing opportunity to get a free conference pass. A limited number of discounted passes will also be available to academics to help them stay up to date with industry trends and meet with other leading innovators. So grab your professor and we’ll see you both here!
TechChill is a non-profit NGO that reinvests all its earnings back into the community by promoting local startups around the world and organizing events throughout the year. February 2020 will definitely be the highlight of the season, but keep your eyes open for our other activities as well.
