Student workshops: Q&A

Figuring out what-you-want-to-do-when-you-grow-up can be annoying, to say the least. Which is why we’ve paired up with Printful to bring you a new perspective. We want to introduce you to the startup ecosystem! How you ask? We are organizing three workshops to better acquaint you with the relevant concepts and players in the ecosystem. See it as your intro into our world. And here is the cherry on top of the cake, if you attend ALL THREE WORKSHOPS you’ll be granted a full pass to TechChill 2019.

WORKSHOP #1 – Future of Tech – October 10
WORKSHOP #2 – Ecosystem – October 24
WORKSHOP #3 – Startups 101 – November 7

We’re sure you have questions, so let’s roll up our sleeves and get into them:

Q: Why could this be of interest to me?
A: Getting your bearings in the startup world could be beneficial for you if the traditional paths you see laid out in front of you don’t seem all that exciting. Or maybe you are interested in startups and all the exciting things that come along with them (like ping-pong tables and like-minded people), but you just don’t know how to get in and get started. Or hey, maybe you want to start your own thing and you just need to speak to someone who matches your drive.

Q: How many workshops are there?
A: There are three student workshops in total. First one on the 10th of October, second on the 24th October and the third on the 7th of November.

Q: Where can I apply & what is the deadline?
A: Apply right here. Do it as soon as possible, but no later than September 30.

Q: Who can apply?
A: All current full or part-time students from any university and any country are welcome to apply (the student status will be checked). The same applies to high-school students from the age of 18.

Q: How will you check my student status?
A: We’ll check your national ID & your student ID at each event.

Q: When will I know if I’m selected to attend the event?
A: We’ll let you know before October 3rd, 2018.

Q: What do I get for attending all three workshops?
A: You will get a free full-access event for TechChill’19 at the end of the workshop cycle. In other words, students who will attend all three workshops will qualify as a full-access pass receiver.

Q: I can only attend 2 events out of the 3. Am I still eligible for a free student pass to TechChill 2019?
A: No, you must attend all 3 events to receive a free pass to TechChill 2019. You are still welcome to attend the workshops, even if it’s just one or two you have the time for.

Q: What language will the workshops be in?
A: All the events will be held in English.

Q: Do I have to prepare for this event?
A: No need to prepare, apply (receive your confirmation) and bring your curiosity.

Q: I’m not an IT student, can I still come?
A: Of course! Whether you’re studying business or medicine or anything in between, you’re welcome to apply. You never know what the startup world can do for you (or you for the startup world).
