What’s next for the Baltics?

Baltics have never looked so big on the map. And for a reason – the region holds a record for both funds raised and the number of startups per capita. So what’s next?

TechChill is a perfect place to meet unicorns. The opening discussion of the event is going to be a fireside chat with Davis Siksnans, CEO of the first and currently the only unicorn company from Latvia – Printful. The company announced its $130 million round during pandemics which was challenging for every company in some shape or form. Davis will share his story on what it took not only to be the CEO but a true leader.

The newest unicorn in Baltics is NordSecurity. At the beginning of April, it raised $100 million from investors at a $1.6 billion valuation thus becoming Lithuania’s second tech unicorn. Co-founder of the company Tomas Okmanas will join the session “Going to $10B and beyond” together with Mantas Mikuckas, the co-founder and COO of the other Lithuanian unicorn company Vinted.

Also, our champions of the region – Estonians – will be represented by their unicorns Bolt, Veriff.

And we will hear from the policymakers as well as investors including investors in unicorn companies what they can say about the Baltics as the next capital of innovations. TechChill will give a floor to such organizations as the Latvian Investment and Development Agency as well as the European Institute of Innovation & Technology and the European Innovation Council.

Lets meet at TechChill 2022
