Many of TechChill’s now regular activities have started out from partnerships just like ours could be.
Student Challenge
About: Annual student program that usually starts in the autumn by welcoming around 100 students from various universities. During the program several meet-ups, workshops, discussions take place, and all ends with the final pitch competition. Students who make it through all the activities are rewarded with TechChill conference pass.
Goal: Introduce young professionals to the startup ecosystem and the opportunities it has to offer.

TechChill Academy
About: Upskilling program for TechChill volunteers. First TechChill volunteers join already 6 months before the conference as Volunteer Team Leads. During this time we organize various workshops, discussions with industry leaders in topics like Event Production, Pitching, Team Culture and more to broaden horizons of our newest team members. In the last 2 months before the conference, 100 more volunteers join the program for more workshops, on and off-site training and more.
Goal: Build leadership skills and prepare next industry leaders and potential TechChill team members.

Career Move
About: A job fair for any level specialist or expert coming from any field. Career Move is organised for its participants to meet startups, find out what they do and how they work and of course – to learn about job opportunities in startups and startups only! Format is as chill as it gets – 2 min pitches from the startups followed by speed dating between job seekers and the startups.
Goal: Bring more professionals to startup world to help founders build strong teams!
Hackathons
About: Online and offline. Software and hardware. Student and policy maker. And what is a hackathon you might ask? Hackathon is sprint-like event (for us usually 48 hours), in which developers, graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, domain experts, and others collaborate intensively on projects depending on the theme of the hackathon.

Matchmaking
First and foremost, TechChill is all about and for startups. And startups seek funding from investors, hence, we are very keen on organising various matchmaking events for startups and investors both locally and abroad, both online and in person, both during the conference and throughout the whole year.

Angel Investor Training
About: As a necessary part of the start-up ecosystem, angel investors often step in when no one else is willing to take the risk of investing in an entrepreneur. We bring together Latvian Angels with experienced professionals to enhance experience and knowledge sharing in very laid back environment.
Goal: Bring international experience and knowledge to Latvian angel investors.

Workshops&Masterclasses
About: Apart from the workshops during Student Challenge and TechChill Academy, TechChill also organises Masterclasses that are available to anyone interested, with a focus on Sales and Marketing lead by international field experts. We are also looking into branching out and adding topics outside Sales&Marketing to our Masterclasses.
Goal: Latvians are great at product development, then perfecting that product, perfecting again, and then again. In the mean time, others get ahead by being loud and bold in their messages. So here we come in with Masterclasses that focus on Sales&Marketing to share new ways how to do things!

X-Europe
X-Europe is a Startup Europe initiative funded by European Commission with a goal to drive DeepTech growth in Europe. TechChill is proud to be one of the partners of the programme alongside F6S, The Next Web, Growth Tribe and Design Terminal.
Within 2 years X-Europe will cover six DeepTech trends and connect 150 European startups with investors and corporations as well as provide training, acceleration, promotional activities and incubation.
