For the next two months, we’re stepping out of the office and visiting fellow startup events all over Europe. Be part of our Road Trip, catch us to say hi and find ways to collaborate!
If you’re an investor interested in the Baltics, we’ll be more than happy to give an intro to the regional startup scene. Are you a startup looking for a home-base? We can tell you all about the opportunities that are present in the Baltics over a coffee. Finally, if you’re a community organization searching for partners in the Baltics, just ping us on Facebook or look for the TechChill sweatshirt in the crowd. Although the startup event schedule in May and June is as busy as it gets, we’re always happy to meet over a cup of coffee or beer in Amsterdam, Tallinn, Moscow, Helsinki, Minsk, London, and Riga, of course.
During the eight years of existence, we have gathered an extensive network of startup community players, startups, investors and corporations – a resource that helps us to raise awareness of the Baltic startup success stories and help local startups build international connections. This is how the value we bring to the Baltic startup ecosystem extends beyond the annual meeting place for two days in February at TechChill.
Since 2006, TNW Conference has been driving the evolution of technology events into what they are today. It is back on May 9 & 10, 2019 and we are joining 17 500 attendees from all across the world for two days of business and knowledge sharing.
This year we’re teaming up with the PHX, Magnetic Latvia Startup and Nxchange for a special side event, bridging Riga and Amsterdam. However, before that, you can still manage to get the latest update on the Latvian and Baltic startup ecosystem by catching a ride with us on a very unofficial ferry between The Next Web Conference and Central Station.
Meet us at the event that highlights the Estonian startup scene like no other – Latitude59! This cozy tech event seems tailor-made for creating new plans and making follow-ups to existing ones. We’ll be sure to take our own advice and make the most of our time there. So, feel free to drop us a message to have a chat and find out not only what we’re up to but how you can chill with TechChill in the upcoming season!
At the end of May, we will be broadening our horizons at the Startup Village, the biggest startup conference in Russia. This will be the first time for us experiencing our neighboring country’s entrepreneurial scope and we’re looking forward to meeting startup founders, innovators, investors and other driving forces from all over Russia as well the rest of the world. If you’re also planning to explore “the dark side of the tech”, which is the theme of the event this year, let us know so we can meet for a coffee!
By the way, there is still time for you to apply for the Startup Village Competition until May 15 and be among those competing for a prize pool of 2 and 5 million Rubles, depending on the category you’ll be taking part in.
End of May is also the most effective networking time of the year, or at least it will be for those planning to attend Arctic15 and caring deeply for relationship building. With thousands of tech events across Europe every year, this one will be a different experience, if you take their advice and make the most of your time in Helsinki!
Find us among attendees and speakers as Marija Rucevska, co-founder of TechChill Foundation and quro.io, will take the stage or feel free to reach out to Ernests for a meeting while there!
Being held in Belarus, EMERGE conference has become the hotbed for deep tech, founders, community leaders, bigger companies and investors from across the New East. As the region is gathering momentum, TechChill will not miss an opportunity to visit Minsk and join a bunch of energetic community builders, movers, and shakers.
We’ll be a part of the event experience this year, so make sure you follow us on social media where more details will follow soon!
Finally, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be in London for the Tech Week this year. This festival of tech is bringing together global tech professionals and enthusiasts for networking, social learning, and business opportunities. If connecting science and creative minds, corporates and grassroots, start-ups, and scale-ups is your main focus, we surely will meet there!
Something’s cooking there on our part as well. But until more information follows soon, why don’t we sync our calendars and schedule a chatty coffee break?
